orange and violet, although not nearly as inspirational as orange and blue, have come to move me in a direction towards the door I have been seeking. If I follow this passage into the hall of truth, I will have expressed an emotion of such veracity and eloquence that the cathartic intensity of the image will document my state even while it frees me from it.

Thanks, Debora, for your comments and support of my portraits...I don't think I'll ever manage to be as brave with colour as you are (and I mean that as a compliment)! I absolutely love how you manage to blend them, and you know how envious I am of your ability to do the scroll vines and long leech-like waves...I've tried and it is HARD!
